HistoryIn 2008, Shu and Jenny Kazama combined their talents to establish an authentic Japanese restaurant with an elegant and intimate atmosphere, reminiscent of the small, neighborhood sushi bars in Japan.In December of 2013, Yun Lee and Chris Choe took over the restaurant as co-owners and revamped the menu and atmosphere to provide high-quality food and service.
Meet the OwnerIn 2011, Chris took over as the owner of Hon Sushi in Monrovia. Hon Sushi has since experienced much greater success, evidenced by reviews from its previous and regular customers. Chris serves as both the owner and one of the sushi chefs of Hon Sushi. His vast experience as an owner and sushi chef has allowed him to revamp Kazama Sushi to provide better food and better service.
